I was looking through the Colorado deer draw statistics and was confused by this.

Why would only 3 of the 4 Non residents with 5 point draw and 22 of the 25 NR with 4 points draw and one NR with 3 points draw?

Shouldn't all 4 of the applicants with 5 points draw before going to the 4 point pool and so on a so forth.

I've seen similar things before and had the same question. Perhaps they were on a party application with someone who had too few points? Or some problem with their application?

I asked the CPW terrestrial data analyst this very question, and she said the vast majority of these cases involve people who applied as a group, with a group member who did not have enough points to draw.
