I am setting on like 30 NR points and wondering the same thing. Not looking for anyone's honey hole, but I'm currently sitting on zero points and am wondering if anyone has thoughts on where to apply for a reasonable chance at a mature buck (180"-200"). I'm a resident if it matters. Thx.
I am anything but pure.Would you be happy with a Townie or are you looking for a pure "Extreme Backcountry DIY" only buck?
I am anything but pure.
That is a giant buckAs much as I hate internet scouters here's some tips:
1. Use Google Earth to locate new subdivisions that were on or close to historic winter range
2. Then narrow the field down farther to those with golf courses
3. Last but certainly not least, look for patches of Dogwood within the subdivisions
4. Practice all summer for your grip and grin for Gram, Trophy mags and Salt Lake
Please keep these tips on the down-low and off google searches. View attachment 366179
