We hunted 65. Didnt see any elk in 4.5 days, didnt talk to anyone that had either and heard two shots the entire week. It was brutally tough- it was my first time out, had fun, walked a ton , saw some great country but next time im either trying a different unit or doing archery in 65 as all the sign we ran across was a month old. We tried hunting near water since it was so dry up top but that didnt produce anything either

It was very dry but there was a lot of water in our unit. Lots of fresh tracks, which I’m sure were from the middle of the night time. We had a great time.
