In 2023 my wife (Heidi) & I hunted unit 24, White River NF. I think that may have been the last year for OTC Bull (me), my wife drew a Cow & Muley tag.
We hunted the 3rd rifle, and by the time our period rolled around the prospects sounded grim due to the previous winter/spring.
It didn't make a difference in our minds as we enjoy everything about the trip.
Sorry to get so side-tracked.
Ended up seeing eight different Moose, one small Muley and no Elk.
We are thinking of hunting the same general area this season. Does the density of Moose make any difference as far as spooking the elk?
Have these area's effected by the 2022(or 2021) harsh winter rebounded?
