CO GMU 77

Howdy folks....have an upcoming 2nd rifle in CO GMU 77, plan on hunting 10/24 - 29 +/- a day or so. Having said that I have never hunted mule deer, lifelong whitetail hunter. I have also never visited or hunted GMU 77. Hoping someone would be willing to give me some advise/recommendations. If anyone is willing to provide some general suggestions or specific ones, please reply or DM me. I would be very appreciative.

Hunt higher than you think is reasonable

The whole state is in drought. Find the best looking feed and hunt there.
