Christmas Trees

Tree is up and lights are on before my departure for parts West per the bosses orders.
We just go to the Jaycee's lot in town anymore now that the kids are grown.

Train depot donation tree.
We were on our way out for a public land monarch but we had 80mph winds that called the hunt.
Don't mind the half tore our fireplace.

Went to a tree farm with the wife and kids today and picked ours up. My mom came over and helped my daughter decorate the tree. She brought a ornament I painted for her (with lots of help from a aunt) when I was 4.View attachment 352284View attachment 352285View attachment 352286

Thanks for making me feel a little older today. You were 4 in '94, which wasn't very long ago BTW, my four kids were all born before '94. Don't pay any attention to me, I'm just a grinch. Merry Christmas!

It was always our family tradition to go cut a tree together. This year with the boys away at college my wife asked if she could just get a small fake tree. "As long as I can still burn it in January," was my reply. Her idea of small and mine are very different...
