Got lucky this past weekend during 1st rifle. Had a small group run up on me. Was able to let one fly and take my very first elk.

Doing an elk hunt solo is a lot of work. Man 4 trips wears on you but so worth it. My boys eyes when I got home made all the struggle worth it.

I'd like to thank Randy and all the other guys I watch on YouTube trying to learn about this species. Still have tons to learn but their instruction helped a lot.
