You have a lot of supporters here. We are all pulling for you, but we are also grateful that you will have much more time to spend on this forum! (gotta find a silver lining somewhere, even if it's kinda one-sided).

You will also have lots of time on your hands to cruise the internet looking for that "perfect, once-in-a-lifetime" double shottie. :)

Listen to your PT coach and you will be in good shape, even if the bird season mostly passes you by. That said, I bet you can find a few ways to bag a couple feathered dinos before it's all over and done.
 
Thankful in advance for excellent surgery and pain control, with sooner than expected return to full function.

Don’t wait for a rise in post surgical discomfort to ask for the pain meds. Get on schedule and stay on schedule. It’s easier to stay out of pain than to get out of pain.
