FYI, you don’t get to keep your catch for the day in Hawaii. They might give you a small amount, if your lucky.

I saw that was pretty common on a lot of boats. I am not sure how much fish we can eat during our time there and I'm not sure I want to go to the trouble and expense of bringing a lot home, so I'm ok with it.

My wife and I will be traveling to Hawaii in a few weeks and will be going on a half day Oahu catamaran cruises with another couple. What is customary regarding tipping? Tip both the captain and mate? What percentage is reasonable? I have not been on a chartered trip before, so I'd like to have an idea from the more experienced among you. Thanks!
