Central Coast Tule Elk Hunt

There's a reason the word "conflict" shows up in the EMP over 400 times....lots of places, just not many that people want them. I guess at least there's been a massive expansion of SHARE opportunities and some regular draw hunts as well. 🤷
Yea but my concern with this is they are increasing share opportunities when it should be an increase in general tags. I’m guessing it has to do with money but some of these herds need to have tags increase as the tule elk are thriving.

The problem is many of the elk in new areas are mainly on private lands or spend the majority of their time there.

Coincidence,,, the herd disappeared about the time this thread started. They came back Friday evening and hung around until they bedded down last night. They are gone again today. I got a few pictures but they were about a mile out so the pictures sucked. The boss said she counted 62 of them. They are next to the drainage just past the newly worked ground.
