I tried to stretch it to Las Vegas Gun Show but deferred to Ham's penchant for precision...and yea, no imagination. ; )

Don’t find many 7-08s with 1:8” barrel. Stock Tikkas are 1:9.5”. Lots of options!
Someone needs a lightweight and pleasant recoiling gun for this upcoming elk/deer season! If I didn’t already have a 7-08 and 280AI, I’d fill that cartridge sweet spot with this one in a heartbeat.

If I was in the market for a rifle, this would be sold already.

If any are skeptical of the 7mm-08, stop reading gun blogs and buy this rifle. If you hunt at less than 500 yds, the 7mm-08 will do the job on elk and anything smaller without skipping a beat.

I'm glad you showed me! I'm currently in the do-I-go-this-way-or-that-way phase on rebarrel vs new rifle. I haven't even started budgeting yet.

If I had the budget, this would be in my safe already .

Jees @p_ham , I thought this was going to be an accurate rifle…

That’s a three shot group with factory ammo at 100 yards. Needless to say I am thrilled. Thanks for building such an awesome rifle. Can’t wait to shoot some critters with it this fall.
