CCM Tikka build

The two tone has been growing on me, my last couple have been different shades of gray. Have you messed with any of the “distressed” painting? Then you could have gray blended with some black, it can really pop on a fluted barrel.

Definitely vote for leaving some cf showing with the paint job!

This is gonna be a heck of a gun
I don't think distressed is the way I'd go on this one, maybe a 2 tone black and gray.

I have done some before though..20220417_104701.jpg

I think a sponge camo paint job on that stock would look great. For the metal, I think Sniper Grey or Cobalt cerakote would go well.

Got the barrel channel fit up.
I'm not leaving the stock as is, the gel coat isn't perfect and it bothers me. Thinking of doing camo with the cf peaking through. Thoughts? I've got another stock that's ready for paint at the same time.
Also, dark gray or black for the metal? I actually kind of dig the 2 tone it is now too.
I feel like I'm getting ready to sell one of my children with this thing. Almost don't want to shoot it.View attachment 284966View attachment 284967View attachment 284968

I painted a Stockys CF blem and let some of the CF show. Like the way it turned out.
Looking forward to seeing your finished build.

Those look nice. What paint did you use?
I used both rustoleum and Krylon to get the colors I wanted. Then sprayed quite a few coats of a the Krylon satin crystal clear finish. Did both of these stocks last October. Have another stock that I did about 3 years ago using the same paint and clear. It gets used a lot and hasn’t shown any wear.

If you need to know any of the colors, I can go out to the shop and get them.

Don't worry about it, I use Cerakote on stuff that isn't mine. I've got a couple of my stocks I rattle canned 5-6years ago that still looks new.
