Carnivore Diet Options While Hunting

Started the carnivore diet a few months ago. Lost 35 pounds so far and feel great. I've tried introducing non-carnivore food lightly over the last 2 weeks and that has caused nothing but flushed skin and gut aches. As of this moment I'm staying carnivore for good. That being said, normally this time of year is when I start stocking up on mountain house, stinger waffles, trail mix, snickers bars, and all the other normal hunting goodies. Since none of that is an option for the foreseeable future I'm looking for some opinions on what to pack this year. Any of you that have experience hunting while on carnivore are you just munching on jerky all day and bringing a cooler into camp packed with meat to cook at camp? If you backpack in are you just hoping to come across a grouse or a stream to catch fish? Or are all of you A+ hunters who get your elk or deer day one so it doesn't matter?

Jerky, snack sticks, ring bologna, steak, tacos, etc. No idea how you do your diet but if allowed cheese on cheese with meat. Eggs if allowed, boiled for trail, fried at camp

eggs, cheese, butter, meat, water, black coffee, salt, and pepper is all I've been doing. Was thinking boiled eggs, jerky, summer sausage, and cheese while out and about.

I was going to say these. I get down on tuna packs; the spicier the better.

Bacon, smoked salmon, powdered bone broth mix, raw honey, crack eggs into a Nalgene bottle and prepare however you like

Exclusionary diets without clear benefits (like avoiding dairy if you are lactose intolerant) always come with a big gray box of potential problems. Good luck on your snack search should you continue to pursue it.

Pretty clear benefits are my joints feel great, I have way more energy, I'm not bloated, I'm losing fat, blood pressure has improved, resting heart rate has dropped 10 bpm, I could continue but for me and my friends that have done it it's been pretty life changing

I've heard this from a lot of people. Also heard the same from people who are on whole 30, including my wife

Is carnivores just straight meat? That might work till you hit it hard for a week chasing elk id recommend finding some clean carbs to eat. May be worth going more paleo during hunting season

eggs, cheese, butter, meat, water, black coffee, salt, and pepper is what I've been doing. This summer I'm going to go for berries and watermelon and see if that works with me. If it does it can bring dried fruit too

A lot of that can just be cutting out all the processed trash that’s in our food. You start looking into how are food is manufactured compared to other countries it’s pretty wild
My wife did it for 30 days. Felt great. We wmet out of town for a day and kinda slipped quite a bit and pretty much felt like she had the flu the next day. Crazy. Obviously food sensitivity/allergies don't bother everyone. Start reading labels and it's eye opening.

I can run along time on pretty low carbs with a higher fat diet with like avocado and cheese and salami. Eventually you will crash and need some carbs I’d glance at that paleo diet and keep that in the back of your brain. That’s awesome the progress and how you feel

Threw some barbecue sauce in my eggs and burger yesterday just to see and within 30 minutes my cheeks were bright pink and on fire. Plus I had a ripping headache that lasted almost all day.

I could tell when I git home from work the next day her skin was flush and she was freezing. It would be easier for her if she liked red meat. Fish is her main staple as far as meat goes. Kinda sucks if we want to go out to eat or something your pretty much sol.

I don’t want that to come across in a bad way I’m genuinely happy for you. Along time ago I thought I wanted to power lift. I was training for a meet and cutting like 30# and had all but cut carbs out of my diet. Like I said I can run along time on low carbs right up until I can’t. I ripped some pie lady at Sam’s club a new ass over something stupid. A lot of people see a big rooided out idiot and think they are an asshole from that. It’s being that depleted on carbs and they are just assholes. Anyway keep going man

*this is purely unhelpful internet sarcasm*

If you were truly on the carnivore diet you wouldn't eat til you killed something or scavenged it.

*carry on with the helpful suggestions*
I thought about going there
