Cancer Dodgeball Tourney

If you need any additional team members let me know and I'll play and I'm sure I can talk my wife into it if needed.

I'm about due to have to pick up something from Andres Taxidermy about that time anyway.

Maybe Fin or Buzz could extend an invitation to Don P. Think how much money could be raised for guys wanting to drill him with dodgeballs?

Maybe hobble his legs and then pelt him with Nolan Ryan fastballs. Would you go for a square shot in the nose...or a direct nut shot?

I'd pay $100 bucks for 3 throws!!
 
Is there a way to contribute other than playing? That is a mite far to go for a dodgeball game as fun as it might be, but maybe someone could coordinate some donations? Just an idea.

Totally understand that MNELKNut, you are sure welcome to contribute to the teams cost to play, its $250/team and as of right now, we are looking at 3-4 teams. Anyone wanting to contribute money to the cause can just send to me: I'm not sure yet if its Lucy's Light Group that the checks will go to or Cookies for Cancer. Your also welcome to just write the checks to me and I will just write one check to whichever it is supposed to go to once I find out.......

I'm excited for this. I haven't played dodgeball since high school and I've missed it!
 
I just wanted to send out a very big thank you to JCS for his recent contribution to the dodgeball tourney. Got a check in the mail and a note saying he couldn't make it to play but wanted to help out and we are gratefull! Thanks JCS!

Also a huge thank you to Big Fin for Sponsoring the Hunt Talk team!.

I'm going to sponsor one of our teams as well. I think we have enough interest to have a few teams, should be a really fun day, mostly knowing we are helping with such an important cause.

The little girl Lucy that this tournament was founded on is in New York all next week for doctor checkups and scans. I believe her type of cancer gave her about a 30% chance for survival and its looking promising that she may just beat this dang thing.

So, I thank all those that are playing and/or contributing to this great cause.
 
Also, I spoke with them yesterday.

Anyone that does want to make a donation can either make it to Cookies for Kids Cancer, or just to Me (Name and Address in above Post). I've had a few people write checks to me and I will just cash them and give them the cash on April 13th.

Thanks again for anyone that has helped or does in the future.

So far for the Hunt Talk team, these are the people I have listed so far that have committed. Let me know if I missed something or added someone who is not sure.

Yeah, each OYOA team member gets a free OYOA T-shirts. PM me your size and whether you want long or short sleeve.

I think the team coach will be Lawnboy. I am the GM and now that free agency is underway, I am looking to sign good talent.

Any OYOA team members making a $20 donation will get a free Season Four DVD. to go with their T-shirt.

Now, what will be the name of the OYOA/Hunt Talk team? Suggestions please.

How about "Game Changers" for a team name.
 
Nice name suggestion Big Slick. Whenever I try to think of a name, "Game Changers" pops back into my head when considering the cause we're playing for. Very humbling really.

I may have overlooked it in one of the posts.

I've been out of the country for a week so I may have missed something.

Let me know what works best for you, I'm good either way.
