Camping with my son

I too will be going on a camping trip with my 15 year old son and nephew. We will be staying in the Carson IceBerg wilderness in California and will be doing some pre season deer scouting. We are leaving tomorrow 8-16-11 and I will post pics as soon as we get back. It will surely be an awesome trip.. The california wilderness area is some of the most beautifull areas around and the kids will be learning how to find deer and what their habits are in this area. We will be doing a ton of hiking but it will be well worth it...Get your kids out there and keep the OYOA going for generations to come....

Big Fin, any chance you and the crew will ever consider a California trip?? There are some big deer to be had on public land and i think you would enjoy it here..

That's awesome. My daughters like to go camping, but the pictures don't look as cool when we are in the backyard (Mom won't go). My 8 year old wants to go hunting with me this year, so maybe she will be more adventurous.
