I stand corrected on this. Here is latest alert I got on the fire: " The fire is expected to pick up again as hot and dry weather conditions return toward the end of the week." Don't look so good now. This report came from ARCGIS, the fire mapping agency.Last update I got on Cameroun Peak Fire at 11:00 AM is 102,596 acres burned and still 4% contained. Don't look a lot like any significant new progression so starting to look good anyways looking at the maps..
Except conflicting report from the agency actually fighting the fire (Southwest Area Incident Management Team 3) and a good thing is no significant fire growth is expected next 72 hours. Maybe that will translate to better news for you hunters hunting Colorado?
