I never wanted to go there. When my son told my 79 year dad he took a job there a year ago my father said " Why do you want to go there Dave? It's a terrible place.". I agree with him.hump

I just booked airline tickets for my wife,daughter and I to go see my son who lives on Huntington Beach. I've been bitching for months I didn't want to go and I'm already depressed I'm not hunting out west this year.

Well the wife okayed a cabo fishing trip in november after I bought the tickets!

Life is good again!


Wait a minute, she knows I'm not going to live through the earthquake!

pa mt man, go down to the beach on a hot day, look around, then tell me Calif. is a "terrible place"
And while you here, head inland up in the Sierras, we don't consider it a "mountian" until it's over 7,000 ft.
The only thing wrong with calif. is the politics of the central and southern coast.

As a Northern CALIFORYUN, I can handle the earthquakes. At least 2 of them tossed my butt on the ground. I can handle that kind of stuff.

Huntington Beach Rocks! The waves are decent (grew up surfing up and down the coast) and there's lots of eye candy! I'm sure you will enjoy yourself.
