Bull back from the taxi

I picked up my Montana bull today. Super pumped!!
I made the pedestal myself. I wanted an industrial-type pedestal with some color so I used some chunky brackets that I sell as a side gig meant for making pergolas and made a cube with 4x4 Doug fir. Then I added the barn wood and found a home for my old MT license plates. Taxi did a great job on the mount. 34” neck he said. Lots of old scars on the cape. I couldn’t be happier. Nice bull, did you get it scored?

Nice bull.
I never did understand stand mounts. Folks must have big empty houses I guess.

The pedestal is not my cup of tea but so what.

Your bull sure had nice colour! I shot another 6x6 monster in 1980 that was very blond like that and also beat up. He even had scars on his front forelegs. Right G5 was broken off half way. I would like to have seen the bull tough enough to push that lone bruiser off his cows!

I went back and looked at the photos and the first thing that jumped into my mind was that’s a dam nice road kill. Lol
