I picked up my Montana bull today. Super pumped!!
I made the pedestal myself. I wanted an industrial-type pedestal with some color so I used some chunky brackets that I sell as a side gig meant for making pergolas and made a cube with 4x4 Doug fir. Then I added the barn wood and found a home for my old MT license plates. Taxi did a great job on the mount. 34” neck he said. Lots of old scars on the cape. I couldn’t be happier. Is the outside frame work of the pedestal part of the mount or just for handling?

Edit- Wait never mind didnt read the post just looked at pics

I have never seen one like that but it would look awesome in a nice garage or home gym with that style.

Ya it’s definitely different. I looked at the regular ones and also the burnt log ones but they are what everybody else has. I just stared from scratch and when I found my old plates from Yellowstone county I just figured “what the heck”. It might not be permanent but it’s growing on me.

Looks freaking awesome!! I love that base. When I kill my big bull I will be looking you up for a base. Great job!!

Beautiful. Well done.
you know what I can’t believe that blue sky in the background.
so rare in PA. and I’m out in the country.

The license plates 👌 Perfect touch to have that vivid blue against the metal/wood tones.

The bull himself looks fantastic, looks like some good taxidermy work! Will look very sweet in an office
