have two browning x-bolts, this one has been a tried and true gun for me and has taken deer out to 600 yards, while stacking half MOA groups with factory ammo at 100. I had an issue with my other x-bolt that is currently being sent to browning, I was not a fan of how they handled the situation. I am now deciding to sell both and go a different route. The other will be posted when it gets back from browning.

Could you tell us about the other one? I’m looking for another x-bolt but don’t need a 7mm-mag.What was wrong with it?

My other x-bolt is actually chambered in 7mm rem mag as well! Big 7 fan to say the least. I had issues with the internal receiver threads..design issue in my opinion that can really bite depending on where your barrel threads end up after head spacing is set, manufacturers ring/base fastener lengths, etc. I contacted browning concerning the issues and was nicely told to kick rocks. They are great rifles and browning produces some of the best factory rifles available, I just am pursuing a different route after my venture with them. Not solely based on this experience but it did help me decide.
