Broke leather? Weave cord.

Getting ready for a night fishing trip on Kentucky Lake, and want to bring my grandad's filet knife. After digging around the garage I finally found the sheath, but was bummed when I saw the belt loop leather hanging by a thread.

Paracord was the idea that sounded the best to me. Should last several years if I take care of it properly

Mine has cut as much deer meat as it has fish! Great knives. I do wonder how the new ones hold up. Looks to be made the same as they always have been

yep, its my go to hunting/butchering knife. I have 50 knives in the house probably, this one has done way more than its fair share. Dad bought it in Finland and gave to me as a gift when I was a kid.
