Can anyone recommend a spot in the Gallatin Valley for wild game processing?

Also, curious as what people tend to go with cut wise when getting their deer processed? I’ve had summer sausage with jalapeños and cheddar that I really liked so I plan on getting a few pounds of that. I haven’t eaten too much Venison so please bare with me.

Lots of good options. I ended up using Yellowstone most often. If you are willing to make the drive pioneer in big timber is phenomenal... it’s been 5 year so not sure if it’s still on the menu but they did some Hawaiian brats for me that were amazing.

Happels is good, although they can be persnickety and preachy about meat. They were one of the few options for getting a spring bear processed and they did some duck sausage for me that was top shelf.

I think budget in Belgrade sold, but I liked them as well.

Highly recommend Dustin Mallory in Belgrade. This year he has done a Black Bear and an Elk for me, and both are outstanding. He did a variety of sausage and meat sticks for the bear, and all basic steaks/roasts/burger from the elk. His prices are quite reasonable, and he works quick! He is probably loaded up heavy right now. Here is the google link with contact info: https://www.google.com/maps/place/C...4ccfa350b3bd9!8m2!3d45.7757652!4d-111.2329009

Pioneer is good, in big timber. You have to call and see if there taking game. Also, let them know if its whole, quartered or off the bone. Last time I sent them something they said they weren't taking anything on the carcass. I live in bzn,
