Well, ol' Forrest was right when he said life is like a box of chocolates cause you never know what you're gonna get wasn't he............. hump
I put in a fourteen hour day on Saturday working at home so I could go run the hounds this morning, and had second thoughts about setting the alarm for 4:00 AM. Put five hounds and my pup in the box and headed for the mountain, got one strike on bear before daylight but it was in a poor place, had a pile of bear crap in the road and everything but drove on.
Came back to the first rig later as nothing else looked very good and put the dogs down. The track was slow so I picked them up and drove on....... |oo
A few miles later got another rig and put the dogs down, track was slow again but I let them go for the exercise. Low and behold the hounds got treed and to my surprise they had a young long tail in the tree above them...
Yup, ole Forrest was right about the box of chocolates and life in general wasn't he?
