bow hunting cow elk?

My wife and I got a couple left over cow tags for unit 62 in Wyoming. My question is how would you guys go about hunting cow elk with a bow? Do you use calls still or is going to be mostly spot and stalk? Any tips would be appreciated hopefully we can fill up our freezer again.

Use a combination of both. Cows will come to a cow call just like a bull will.

The easiest thing I have found is to try and sound like a list cow or a calf. Sometimes you might find another lost cow that might be looking for others. They will come to the calls as noted above. You just won't have as much vocalizarion as a bull.
