Blues on Black Friday jumpstart...

One of the best 12 bar players I ever saw was Pat Travers. My buddies and I saw him warm up for Alice Cooper in the early 80's. Then Cooper had problems starting his set.
We started shout, "Pat! Pat! Pat!...." Cooper got pissed and walked of the stage.

This song pushes the genre a little, but a progression is a progression.

Boom boom..out go the lights

"Mance Lipscomb (April 9, 1895 – January 30, 1976) was an American blues singer, guitarist and songster. He was born Beau De Glen Lipscomb near Navasota, Texas. As a youth he took the name Mance (short for emancipation) from a friend of his oldest brother, Charlie."

I have an old memory from jr high , Dad was taking me rabbit hunting we are driving out to the Kenai Peninsula, Alaska which is a really long drive from Eagle River and he let me bring my boom box remember this is the early 80s and I had an AC/DC mixtape, I got to play it while we were driving to go hunting dad had the patience and put up with it and the only song he liked was an AC/DC song that has a blues rift to it , for some reason I still have that memory of dads comment 40 years later
