I shot this big boy off my 125 yd lane, not the biggest rack but weight wise yes, took him to my processing guy, he weighed it, 219 lbs field dressed, the one I took in a few weeks weighed in @ 186 lbs, he wanted to know where in the hell that I am getting these big deer, the 186 lb deer was a 7 pointer he was missing his G2 look at the neck thought he was going to break my winch

Look'N good!
Thanks brother, he was a horse, LoL!!! Over the last 6 years I have pulled my deer to the trailer with my riding lawn mower, done a great job, but that one kept bogging it down, but my female German shepherd didn't help she wouldn't stop attacking it, and trying to pull it backwards, I guess she thinks it's going to hurt me

You killed a buck that was 219 field dressed in SC????

I recall reading about some whitetails brought down south from Wisconsin or surrounding areas decades ago. Good to see what appears to be healthy genetics.

You'll have to let us know how the meat is.

Yes I did, he was huge!!!, The one I took in 2 weeks before him weighed 186 field dressed, my processing guy was freaking out,
What in the crap. Congratulations. I can't even begin to explain how impressive that is. That deer mustve been pushing 270lbs+ on the hoof. Seriously, that is insane.

Well if
I shot him out of my side field off of wire Rd between Ridgeville and Grover,

I've already got it back, they did a good job, the cube steak they did great, the sausage link's loved them, and the jerky???? I got people begging to buy some

Oh no doubt, you will get a laugh out of this, every deer I have harvested in the last 6 years I've pulled to the house with my lawn mower, this deer???? Kept bogging me down, look at the size of the back hams and that neck, the length of it compared to the shed beside it, I was worried my redneck boat wench was going to strip out,

Congratulations on the buck!!
Crazy body on him.
Oh yes, I really was lucky for him to be where he was, yes I knew that he was a big boy when the cross hairs were on him, his neck, and as long as his body was, I didn't pay any attention with his rack, just knew he was a buck by his build, but thanks for replying, hope your season has been good for you

Takes one helluva whitetail to break 200 pounds. Even in the corn belt. Congrats!

Yeah tell me about it, I'm from Virginia, and I have killed some big dear through out the years, I couldn't believe the size of him either, but 3 weeks before I hauled one in a 7 pointer, his G2 was gone, but he weighed 186, field dressed, that was a big boy also, I've got one has been running around here for the last 3 years, got him on camera many times, rifle scope twice, couldn't set up on him quick enough, but his rack is very tall, and narrow , best I can see on camera he is a 10 pointer, I'm gonna send you a pic of my buddy in Virginia I grew up with, and his deer he knocked down last week that's the kind of deer expected to weigh over 200, but hey I get the question mark about a deer that size in SC
