Big Buisness Finally Getting Nailed for Illegals

Matt i know that you don`t quite understand what illegal means... but what part of "knowingly" don`t you get?.....as in Wallmart "KNOWINGLY" hired floor cleaning contractors who hired illegal labor? They are guilty pure and simple......and knowingly is hard to prove without evidence...Obviously they had Wallyworld cold...they didn`t even try to defend themselves....go back and read the top post by Elkchasr again.

I wonder how many small businesses "KNOWINGLY" hire illegals? How many flag-waving republican farmers "KNOWINGLY" hire illegals to pick their crops?

Funny how the gov. chooses to shake down wal-mart over a sub-contracted janitor...while at the same time systematically ignoring the much bigger problem of small businesses hiring illegals all the time.

I wonder how many illegals the Bush Family has "knowingly" hired over the years????

It all boils down to the lawyers in the case looking for the deepest pockets to steel from.

Well Buzz i wish you would quit making me agree with you..Yes your above post is true..as is Elkchsr... But i think we are "JUST" talking about wallyworld..thats the headline.....but absolutely they should nail everyone ....the feds could sit outside of any home depot and nail sub-contractors all day long.

Yeah, because we need to make this country safe from having sheetrock stocked inside of a house..... I want the Feds wasting my Tax Dollars protecting us from a bunch of guys with landscape rakes making my neighbor's yard look better....

CJ and his "war on terror and landscaping"....

Too bad the whole point of the topic is lost on the Failed lawyer with multiple personnalities hump |oo |oo hump :D

Yeah, to think I could be participating in the 200 Man White Trash March in the desert with a retired postal employee and a big belly'd accountant from San Diego. That pretty much would be the epitome of my life's goals....

Meanwhile, I hang out here in a 5-star hotel in ShenZhen for another 3 days.... And CJ, you wouldn't like it here, as there are foreigners all over this country. Americans are outnumbered by something like a Billion people....

Nemont- I know one of the jurors for the LS case. He said both lawyers did a great job. He also said the decision wasn't unanimous in this case. One thing he pointed out was the ability for the jurors to over look what he felt were strong facts in the case and go with the emotional current. He was one of the dissenting votes. He felt Les Schwab was not liable for the tire once it went into another companies hands. Similar to subcontracting. It's hard to control another companies record keeping and what that company does. Also, with Les Schwab, he felt his fellow jurors were basing their decision on the "get the big company" and "someone needs to be responsible" feelings (not the facts of the case). I can't say for sure as I wasn't one of the jurors but this guy is pretty open and quite honest.

Gunner , i like the assclown name that Buzzy came up with.[very funny] and original..If you knew anything about Jim Gilchrist[the accountant] you would know that he is kinda skinny....the guy with the little gut is [unknown]...Glad your staying in a nice hotel, but too bad your still "lost in translation"

MattK,
I am sure that is all true. The challenge for LS was that their CEO made some ridiculas statements regarding what was considered safe or unsafe use of an 11 year old tire, which had been recapped twice and had several other repairs and ended up on the front of a loaded cement truck. I didn't say I agreed only that there were other facts that led the majority of jurors to find fault.

CJ,

You are right, I don't know that much about the lead Azzclown and why he doesn't want the leaves blown off my sidewalk every morning at 8am... Just glad that you have found somebody to blindly follow into the desert to protect our country from getting our laundry folded....

Bin drinking did you miss the thread about the 11 illegals pushing HEROIN to the high schools in az? or the gang bangers etc,etc,... sorry if in your own little world that you think their all outstanding non-citizens. Wallmart Guilty case closed ... Hows the sushi?

CJ,

I think BinBandTwiceAlready is spending too much time in the Kareoke Bar and not enough time working while in Asia. Room service must have brought him a new computer.

I suppose one can't hide from reality, no matter how many splits they add to their own self... ;)
