Southern ia, yep several pig farms around me. But these don’t look like any of their breeds.

I know there are pigs that have invaded from nebraska. And maybe other issues as well. But the DNR is trying to figure out how big the problem is. And what to do about it. They would probably appreciate hearing from you and seeing those pictures.

Yes, I know. And Missouri, of course. But Iowa pigs, so far as I know, have come from Nebraska - and I think those pigs came from an abandoned game farm in Kansas. I have that on fairly good authority. But that doesn't mean they ain't coming from other directions. Their range expansion is not over yet.

Nope not even close. Especially when we aren't allowed tk do anything about an invasive species. In illinois that is anyway.

There is some logic to that. Same in Missouri and I think Oklahoma, but not sure on that one. In any event, the DNR would love to know about those pigs. I do not know what they would do about them - if they have the resources to do anything. But I know they want to hear about it.
