Definitely crossed my mind for next year. There's even a decent tree for it just above the road overlooking an opening!

Hope I can break the rule for and post one that wasn't from my camera. When I killed my buck this year, I noticed a trail camera right above me when I was cutting him up. Came back later with a card reader and was able to pull this:

I was about 30 yards away walking up the logging road. He had a sapling covering him when I raised my gun so I shifted to my left and he either saw that or heard the gravel crunch

Last spring I had a bear pull my camera off the tree and leave it on the ground face up, taking pictures of the tree branches blowing in the wind and an occasional bird flying over. Thankfully, after some 900 pictures he came back and flipped the camera over.
