I picked up a B14 hunter in 7 rem mag the other day. Put Warne bases and rigs on it. Vortex 4-16x40 hslr scope. I have some once fired Nosler brass, Winchester magnum primers, IMR 4831 powder, and some 162 grain eldx bullets laying around so I decided to start with that. 58.5 and 59 grains of powder produced decent groups. 59.5 grains did the best of my ladder loads up to 60.5 grains here’s 4 shots at 100 over a semi decent rest. Time to chronograph and get the rest of the load data———

Is it September yet?

Nice rifle and shooting!
How do you like the Bergara so far? Have been thinking about getting one, but haven't made the jump yet.
I'm using the 162gr ELDX over a charge of RL26 out of my Savage 111 with good sucess .
I also use the 150gr ELDX, and ABLR in both the Rem Mag and the 284 Win.

Pssst,
Don't tell the wife but i put money down on a used Ruger 77MKII in 280 Rem. Pick it up next week.

I have two of them now and they are awesome!!!!!

They make the premier stalker version chambered in .280ai. Sweet rifles

That Premier is pretty cool....>2 grand (MSRP looks to be just under 2200) seems to have become niche valuation for touted component rifles and I read good things about Bergara's barrels.

...nice shooting Stu.

I tried retumbo and the 162 eldx and my 7mm didnt like that combination. Going to try some H1000 or maybe RL22 next
