Beeper/training collars

I use a Garmen alpha, I've been very happy with it the few years I've used it on my beagle. You can also use the hand held for a regular touch screen GPS while hunting too. I had my dog out with me putting cameras up in August she got on a snowshoe hare and ran it until she fell over from heat. That collar is the only reason I found her and got her home. Worth the price for sure. It is a GPS tracking collar teamed with tritronics for a training collar with shock/beep/vibrate all in one unit.

I'll second the Alpha. I debated out beepers when I got my German Wirehair. Finally, a friend told me just to buy the Alpha and be done with it. The initial pocketbook hit is tough, but three seasons later I don't regret the decision one bit.

I have a dogtra 2500tb. It has been a robust unit. nick/con stim and locate tone. It has point and point/grouse mode. The unit has been used every day for three years with no issues.
