These are a couple scratch board demonstration drawings I did for my students in the last couple weeks. It's real silver underneath a black ink/wax type substance. In real life these look super cool as you get all kinds of awesome reflections. The scan is a really poor representation of how these really look. However, I think it's enough that you can sort'a get an idea. Hope you all enjoy them.

Sweet drawings Troy. I especially like the 'yote.

Are you geared up for turkeys yet? I am looking forward to a couple more field shots. I remember the one from last year I really liked.

Those are so cool.....
That looks like a great medium to put art onto....
Thanks for the share.... :)

Tyson, I'll let Troy answer for himself but I think I remember him having a website with art for sale...the man does some incredible stuff!

Very awesome Big Sky!! We had those scratch boards in my art class as well and mine didn't turn out anywhere near that good. I agree with what you say about them giving an awesome reflection in real life. A girl in my class did a snarling dog and it looked very awesome. Have you ever used the scratch boards that are gold instead of silver? They seemed a little easier to scratch but personally I think the silver makes the picture look a lot nicer.
