I'm a novice wildlife photographer. I've been at it for maybe 14-15yrs now. I post my pics mainly to educate young predator hunters on how wild canines (Red Fox & coyotes) use the wind. While hunting, traveling & while bedded down.
All of these canines have the same behavior in common. Wind at their backside as per usual. You could add timber to these pics. It wouldn't change their behavior. I've seen coyotes bedded down in sparse timber. They do the same thing. Add hills or on flat land. Samo...samo.
