Bear skull open mouth euro

Client has asked for open mouth euro. Any thoughts? Best on the wall or shelf?

Definitely on the shelf. Maybe on small base with a little habitat woukd set it off imo.

Looks good, you did well on the euro.. i vote shelf as well, but it doesn’t look bad on the wall either. Either way I think it deserves some sort of pedestal if for paying client…

Keep in mind if it's mounted on the wall, it will be much higher looking down at the viewer. Our trophy room is very crowded right now.

Is that lion for a customer?

My bear skull is in a plexiglass box with a walnut base. I display it on top of my gunsafe. Plexi box keeps it free from dust.

Daughter did all the hard work, cleaning and bleaching. I put it together and made wall hanger.

It would take a specific wall to look really good. Something darker color with nothing else around it to take attention away.

Fortunately I never experienced that. The gunsafe is in the corner, and the ceiling light is in the center of the room.

I vote something like this. Maybe a little more angle to “shelf” and hung about eye level so you can really see the teeth.

I don’t have a picture but my grandparents had a wolf skull on a small round mirror on their dining room sideboard. It looked great. The reflection in the mirror was cool.
