@wllm1313 definitely isn't a one trick pony, he not only posts quality content (I mean it's not GH level but right at the top still) but is also in the top 10% for shear quantity production. I mean who wasn't readily aware he was out hunting recently? If I go two days without reading half a dozen zingers from that ole masshole I know something is up. After a week I start to worry.

To be fair, there is a difference between Ursus Arctos Horibilis and it’s not so well known subspecies Ursus Arctos Horibilis attentio quaesitor (a.k.a. a Greenwood Grizzly.)

It’s a slight difference, but true students of the wild are in the know.

Great story! And, congrats on a much more adventurous September than mine. I've never had any interest in shooting bears, mostly because I don't like my meat well-done. But, I keep hearing from all these bear hunters about good grease, good meat... I don't know, the wheels are turning a little bit. In NY, you automatically get a free bear tag when you buy a deer tag and I have had opportunities.. What do most of you do with the bear meat? Well-done steaks? Sausage?
