Barnes TTSX BT .308 win 150 gr load

Debating a .308 load myself. My Ruger American .308, 22" barrel, that I put a Magpul Hunter stock on shoots lights out with the inexpensive Federal Power-Shok stuff in 150. Will use that for my NY Whitetail trip but deciding what I might want to try 150 TTSX are one option as well as Accubonds or Hammers. I am trying to find powder and primers but I think finding a needle in a haystack might be easier.

If I were starting on a load with no particular plan I would use the 130g shock hammers. I think that is the perfect bullet for a 308 under 400 yards.

Varget performs best near max

165gr @ 45.5 to 46.0

Winchester brass is supposed to have a bigger powder capacity than others (Think Barnes lists it in their load data)
I've got some listed in the classifieds here. Really like Barnes but switched to hammers so no longer need the higher capacity brass.

40 years reloading the 308 win.
Yes WW brass was a favorite for Palma match shooters so much 1992 Palma Winchester made a special load featuring their brass head stamp “92 Palma Match”
I have long used WW brass since the 70’s.
I also like M852 Brass 1971 with W748 @ 44 with 175gr/180gr. A old military match load of yesteryear!
IMR 4895/RL 15/N140 all have served me well in 308 Win

My 308 likes Varget as well.
44.1 of Varget @ 180gr BT or AB
CCI BR2 in WW brass

150gr TTSX or TSX should be a great performer on game in 308 Win.
IMR 4895 should be perfect in WW Brass
