Needs assholes to know y'er a good guy/gal.
The most important thing MT can do for wildlife is to start managing habitat across a broad spectrum of lands. Allocation of the resource becomes secondary when the habitat is good. That includes security cover, forbs, feed, etc. What works for Eastern MT isn't necessarily going to work in Western MT if the ecotypes are completely different, and migrations are different.
Love the entertainment of the usual dip shits, who have no ability other than blame the other party... when voters reject their party...Love it when the usual suspect (suspects) play the party card while trying to convince everyone they are independent.
TFF
But then everyone will just be full of Sh--t.The man who developes "anti-asshole" vaccine will rule the world!!
Must have hit close to home. LOLLove the entertainment of the usual dip shits, who have no ability other than blame the other party... when voters reject their party...
Haha! One would think if you look in the mirror yourself..Must have hit close to home. LOL
Fair question. One of the biggest effects in the future going to be that my NR family and friends will have a much more difficult time to draw due to the unfair priority of outfitted clients whose can buy 2 preference points per year when others can only buy one.In what way/ways has outfitting affected you in negative ways? I'm curious to know.
But.... my yellow snow patch is farther from me than your yellow snow patch...This thread is not exactly a display of best foot forward at this point in time.

I can still write my name in the snow, and yours!!!But.... my yellow snow patch is farther from me than your yellow snow patch...
I’d bet you’ll get a ton of likes and ppl who give you kudos for this, and don’t understand. Thank you for being consistentBut then everyone will just be full of Sh--t.
Even if it’s at the end of my big toeI can still write my name in the snow, and yours!!!
What about hunters I’ve run into? Those who claim to have “permission from the landowner” then try to run me off? It’s happened on our place and placesFair question. In some years my hunting has been directly affected by the public land outfitter in the area I hunt booking so many hunters they over saturated the area. They had 21 hunters in camp in an area they usually take 6-8. That was probably an anomaly because we usually aren’t in direct competition and both make efforts to stay out of areas that each other hunts most frequently.
I am expecting a lot of pressure this season in my normal hunting area because he will have full to capacity camps since everyone he booked can buy a tag and there is the normal amount or more DIY guys.
I’ve had to spend 8 days of my own time and experienced some very public and personal backlash for my willingness to testify against a licensed guide who I videoed poaching. He was convicted, yet working for an outfitter on the MOGA board that same winter.
There are other instances of friends who had outfitters attempt to bluff them away from public trailheads.
I give you a thumbs up. For being consistent and understanding the way things work. Even if we don’t agree eye to eye on little things...we understand andI’d bet you’ll get a ton of likes and ppl who give you kudos for this, and don’t understand. Thank you for being consistent
I have had a few hunters claim to have "permission form the landowner". Most just insist that they are on public land when they are not. If one of them ever said "what you doing here". "We have permission, you need to leave". I would be laughing so hard, I would be helpless. What about hunters I’ve run into? I lease to hunt. I’ve had “hunters” look me
In the eye and ask “what you doing here”. “We have permission, you need to leave “.
Well said. Can't fault the ranch owner. They can deal with one person who pays them $15,000 and escorts hunters onto the ranch or get paid $15,000 by FWP for block management and have dozens (Type II) or hundreds (type I) of hunters on the property. Seems like an easy decision to me. I agree it only takes a few assholes to ruin it for the rest, but the number of the assholes seem to be growing from what I see. Blaming the Outfitters is an easy-out, but the solution to fixing that is more complicated.
