I bought a badlands Supeday pack back cerca 2006. Just last year (2023) I passed that pack down to my son. (12 yrs) he rode on the back of a motorcycle with the pack strapped down to the rack and smelled a burning fabric. Sure enough the exhaust on the bike had melted the side pouch to the pack. I shipped the pack to badlands for repair which they had always thoroughly done in the past.
This time I got the call indicating that the pack can no longer be salvaged. Instead they offered to replace the pack.
I cannot wait to see the look on my son’s face when he finds out that Badlands has upgraded him.
I love this company. I own pants, a 2200, a super day, a reactor, and even travel luggage and a sleeping bag through them. The warranty is worth the price.
