I haven't seen this posted yet, so wanted to share. The forest service announced that the federal land closures in the Catalinas will be extended to Nov 1 due to the Bighorn fire.
This is most of unit 33. There are almost 1000 coues tags just in October.
Officials gave some hope that it will open sooner, or less area will be restricted, if flooding and debris flow is not as bad as they expect.
