Leaving Friday for Arizona with a archery javelin tag in my pocket. Don't know why but I think I look forward to this hunt more than any other; It's just a relaxed fun hunt, usually better weather than here at home and neat country. If it goes well I'll post some pics on my return. If you don't hear anymore I came home empty handed, but guarantee I'll have a good time.

Best of luck to you neighbor. It's nice to get out and the weather will definitely be nicer, but after killing a couple javelina, I count the hunt successful if you come home empty handed. :D

Good luck, it's a fun hunt. I am taking my new bow out in February to hopefully get another one. Just have your game processor make chorizo. There's not much else you can do. With the spices and a little bit of pork mixed it comes out pretty good.

When I lived in AZ, I killed a couple javelinas and also cooked a couple that a friend shot. I thought the meat was really pretty good. There just is not much of it.

I saw a lot of them in 35B in November hunting coues deer. Have a blast and best of luck!
