AZ Credit Card hit?

I heard last week that cards were being hit for sheep and deer. Beings how I applied for and drew an elk tag, thought I'd sit out the coues deer draw.

But, my wife and I both applied for desert sheep.

I hadnt bothered to call my card to see if there was any activity, I always apply on my Alaska Airlines card strictly for tags/permits, never use it otherwise.

So, tonight, I decided to call...just to make sure my balance was the usual zero.

Seems theres a 1400 charge on it from AZ, I about shat my britches...

Not sure which one of us drew, but either way, I'm hunting desert sheep in AZ this year...still cant believe it.

I just talked to a credit card associate on the phone, Arizona Game and Fish absolutely charged my card 1400 on July 18th.

Theres no doubt that means but one thing...and one thing only.
