I appreciate the advice Brent!I hunted with Calder Mt last year. It was a lot of fun, but leaving the boat was an issue. There were just 2 of us, and one of us was ALWAYS in the boat. The tide moves way too fast for beaching for more than than a few minutes.
The boats are very heavy aluminum. You will not be sliding them anywhere once grounded. Do yourself a favor and get a boat with a partial cover. A few extra bucks but worth every penny. Otherwise, you will be wet regardless of the weather.
