Auction Tag Deja Vu

I wonder if he offered a bounty on Bulwinkle and a finder's fee. You know.... For conservation.

He must be very proud of that elk after all of the effort that went in to killing it.

I heard the bull was so tame that the elk allowed him to walk up to within 15 yards of him before he shot. I don't know how he could be proud of taking that elk?

And years earlier had an issue with a guide locating an animal by air, guiding where not permitted, etc. Seems like a great guy.

What dismays me to no end are the number of people who vehemently defend auction tags. It also dismays me to no end that someone would think shooting this elk would be a good idea. I don't like people making "pets" of them, I hate it. But this event costs all of us as hunters.
