The town is full of them. Big knives, camo and atvs. Gotta getcha some!

What you are seeing is all the elderly and disabled who shouldn't be locked out of our forests.

I am typing this while on the floor. I have not stopped laughing enough to get back in my chair.

Yeah, I was just at a sporting goods store in Bozeman over the lunch hour. Pretty much with Tjones described. Good news is that is sure improves the hunting in those harder to reach areas.

One dude had a heck of a mullett going on, camo head to toe and a tied down tactical looking handgun rig on one hip and a bowie knife on the other. Fear the mullett.

I'm seeing it too. Caravans of them on the interstate. If it's brown it's down. I'm headed to billings to pick up my sister. The poor animals.

As usually, I will not be out Caravan weekend. You can't pay me enough or get me enough orange. The shooting range has been quite a popular place lately too. A couple new hunting rifles being sighted in. Another was the kid that came in one of the local stores, thumbed through a loading manual searching for the fastest load and bought the bullets and powder. He was going to "make" some good deer loads for this weekend. No regard for the danger he was about to put himself and his buddies in.

A rancher and his wife are moving cows this weekend (as per the lease dates) just north of the CMR. I gave them a bunch of orange to put on their buckskin horse (his horse is called "new horse") to keep from getting shot.

I love the great big knives some guys carry on their side LOL. you can usually tell what kind of hunter they are by looking at their knives.

I talked to the local game warden at subway this evening. I asked if he thought tomorrow would be uneventful. He said that they've been having troubles with the Caravan since Thursday. He wouldn't go into details but said it wasn't good and sighed.

What does it say about me when all I have is a 4 inch paring knife with the blade shoved between two pieces of cardboard, wrapped in electrical tape???

And damnit Greenhorn, WTH are you doing? Didn't expect any posting out of you. Shouldn't you be out in a sleeping bag cuddling with your spotting scope under a ponderosa?

You guys need to document these yokels like People of WalMart....

Maybe we can start a picture contest or something out of this. the rules could be the fanciest atv with the most add ons and the smallest buck on the back.

You guys in Montana get a little tiny small town parade compared to the New York City size parade we get in Colorado
