I've jump shot a few small sloughs and would never knock anyone for it, but nothing compares to ducks working the decoys. First time I tried it was like a drug, been hooked ever since.Be sure to pace yourself, don't want to work up a sweat, or sprain anything
You have my attention. On the back end of the hunt I've got a new to me wine fridge im gonna use to dry age my ducks before plucking them. Im looking forward to dialing that thing in so I've got a 12 duck fridge to turn those ducks into culinary magic.
I’d be down.I'll trade you a pretty damn good duck shoot for any kind of driftless area hunting or fishing excursion.
You are a smart guy, Gellar. That was an offer too good to refuse.I’d be down.

If you need waders hiking in those is punishment in itself. The moose tear those ponds up pretty bad. Good chance I twist an ankle.

Breathables are by far the way to go for walking any distance. Still not fun but better than neopreneIf you need waders hiking in those is punishment in itself.
Anyone want to recommend the best pair? Every pair of neoprene I've tried have lasted less than one season and they leak.Breathables are by far the way to go for walking any distance. Still not fun but better than neoprene
Breathable?Anyone want to recommend the best pair? Every pair of neoprene I've tried have lasted less than one season and they leak.
I dont care breathable or not just as long as they stop leaking I hunt a lot of deep mud and it seems walking in that pulls the seems apart.Breathable?
I have a pair of Frogg Togg Chesapeake. I somehow managed a triangle tear but some flex tape fixed that in the field (worked so good, it will not come off to fix with a actual patch)
Rogers breathable waders are Frogg Toggs labeled as Rogers and much cheaper. That will be my next pair
