It’s already legal to shoot wolves in most parts of Wyoming, they don’t have to SSS. They’ve already shot several of the wolves that had established in Colorado and wandered across the border prior to the ‘reintroduction’.

If I was a rancher and I shot a wolf I'd be pretty quiet about it. If your only goal in shooting it is to protect your livestock then you've accomplished your goal the moment the wolf dies. Why make it public? You are just asking for unnecessary backlash
