I recently purchased a CVA Accura LR-X. .45 cal. I've found the best accuracy shooting Powerbelt ELR 285's over 73 gr by weight of BH 209.
I'm curious if anyone here has tried arrowhead bullets in their CVA. Arrowhead specifically says they are intended to shoot out of their rifles and Brux barrels.
Just curious what others here have found. Starting with new bullet weights, diameters, and charges can be a deep rabbit hole.

Man, I was hoping you’d say you had a .50 cal. I’ve got a good handful that came with my Remington 700 Ultimate that I need to get rid of.

I had to move my scope forward in the rail to shoot prone. Of course I had to zero it prior to one of the matches. My first two rounds are the top left. I adjusted and fired again, the single hole.
The right hand bottom diamond is 5 rounds.
The left hand bottom diamond is also 5 rounds.

All XLD's.

What’s your rifle? Smokeless?

Yes, SML capable. However, those rounds were using BH209.
Smokeless is not allowed in registered competitions. We are limited to 120grs VOLUME of BH209. NO MUZZLE BRAKES.

My rifle isn't granddad's muzzleloader.
