Looks like it’s me that drew an archery Strip tag with 5 points!

First, got lucky in the spring and drew a Salt River Wilderness rafting permit, and had a truly awesome 4 day trip in late March. Now it turns out I'll be going right back to the area for my first Coues hunt between Christmas and New Year's. A lot to learn and very excited.

Early rifle? I believe there is only one rifle season on the Strip units (13A or 13B) and both are in November.

Zilch, but will draw rifle mulie next year. So far 0/41, in 7 states on draws. 10 raffles left. Congrats to all that drew and relish your tag.

Should be a fun hunt. Mule deer populations are down but they will be rutting towards the end of the hunt. Younger coues might be chasing but dont count on rutting activity with them. If you have a limited time available, the later part of the hunt will have a better chance of seeing some rut activity.
