Has anyone participated in this? I applied my kids for it in the draw and my son drew. It looks like a fun time for a first elk hunt. Hopefully, they can help make it a successful experience for him. It’s the Oct 10-16 5B South and 6A youth cow tag.

Cow only and 300 tags. 120 spots available for the camp. You must register after drawing the tag.

From what I’ve read, it seems like a very good org.

Looks like a great idea! I had hoped my son would be interested but unfortunately he wasn’t. I would have applied for the cow tag and camp if he was interested.

I registered this morning. My boy, who is already addicted to the outdoors, should really enjoy this as his first elk hunt.

Sounds like a awesome experience. Do you happen to know if there's a age minimum for the camp? Mine will be 10 by the 26 elk season.

You just have to draw the youth cow tag and then register. My daughter has been trying for 3 years and hasn’t drawn. Next year she will have 4 points and I’m not sure I am going to put her in for it again. She is getting close to being able to get a bull tag.
