Archery Elk in the Gravelly Range of SW Montana

Overcrowding is virtually everywhere in OTC elk units. I’ve learned that it doesnt do a lot of good to virtual scout “good elk terrain”. When you arrive there you find out several others found your great spot and the elk aren’t there.
Getting there and scouting where the other hunters will push the elk is a far better option.
